Schlumberger withdraws from Fortuna/Ophir development

Golar LNG Ltd. (Nasdaq: GLNG) reassured investors that the framework agreement between Golar and Schlumberger Ltd. (NYSE: SLB) will remain intact despite Schlumberger's withdrawal from the Fortuna/Ophir development. Shares of Golar plummeted $4.68 to $16.92 while Schlumberger stock eased a penny to $79.77.
