Elizabeth “Liz” Finchum, CDPE, e-PRO®, RCC, ASP®, REALTOR®, RE/MAX Leading Edge has joined The Expert Network©, an invitation-only service for distinguished professionals. When asked why she decided to pursue a career in real estate, Ms. Finchum said:

"My grandpa was a Realtor, and I had always been fascinated by his work. When my husband’s work was busy enough that I could quit my full-time job, I took an investing class, thinking we could do some investing when he wasn’t working. I got my license, and the rest is history. I’ve never looked back.”

As a thought-leader in her field, Ms. Finchum makes sure to stay up to date on the latest trends and developments in her areas of specialty, and notes the recent shift toward a buyer’s market:

"We do not have a ton of inventory right now, so when a property comes on the market we get multiple offers over asking because we have buyers competing for one listing. What we have been told by the mortgage industry is that the interest rates will probably go up next year, in which case we’ll see a shift in inventory; probably fewer buyers and more sellers. So it’s really important that we stay aware of those changes.”

Ms. Finchum is an active member of the Madison County Area Realty Association and the Madison County Chamber of Commerce. She also donates her time and energy through involvement with the London Lion’s Club and the Coover Society.
